As a father of three, my greatest pride has never come from the scoreboard —
it’s come from watching my kids grow into who they are meant to be.

Each of them has their own spark, their own strength, and their own story.
But one of the clearest lessons they’ve taught me is this:

When you give a young person the right environment - the right support, the right belief, the right team — they transform.

That truth took on a whole new meaning with my daughter, Jacqui.

Football became more than a sport for her.
It became a place where she rebuilt confidence, rediscovered joy, and stepped into her own leadership.

I watched her find her voice, her intensity, her purpose — not because the world was easy, but because she chose to rise to every challenge in front of her.

And in that journey, something shifted in me too.

I realized that what sports gave my daughter — discipline, community, healing, resilience, pride — is what so many girls in our community are searching for.

What they deserve.

HERisUS was created to meet that need.

Not as a charity.
Not as a project.

But as a commitment to the next generation: to build spaces where girls feel supported, empowered, and seen.

To give them resources, coaches, mentors, and opportunities that don’t just change seasons — they change lives.

I’ve witnessed girls go from quiet to confident.
From unsure to unshakeable.
From hiding to leading.

And every time I coach, every time I see a girl step onto the field with fire in her eyes, I’m reminded why this foundation exists: Because when a girl is given a chance to rise, she brings an entire community with her.
