As a father of three, my greatest pride has never come from a scoreboard.

It’s come from watching my kids grow into who they are meant to be.

Each of them carries their own spark, their own strengths, their own story.

But one of the most important lessons they’ve taught me is this:

When young people are given the right environment — the right support, the right belief, the right team — they transform.

That truth became deeply personal through my daughter, Jacqui.

For her, football became more than a sport.

It became a place where she rebuilt confidence, rediscovered joy, and stepped into her own leadership.

I watched her find her voice, her intensity, and her purpose — not because life was easy, but because she chose to rise to every challenge in front of her.

And through that journey, something shifted in me too.

I realized that what sports gave my daughter — discipline, community, healing, resilience, and pride — is exactly what so many girls in our communities are searching for.

What they deserve.

HERisUS was created to help meet that need.

Not as a charity.

Not as a temporary project.

But as a commitment to the next generation — to build spaces where girls feel supported, empowered, and seen.

Spaces where they have access to coaches, mentors, resources, and opportunities that don’t just change seasons — they change futures.

Through this work, I’ve watched girls go from quiet to confident.

From uncertain to unshakeable.

From hiding to leading.

Every time a young athlete steps onto the field with confidence in her eyes, I’m reminded why this movement exists.

Because when a girl is given the chance to rise, she lifts an entire community with her.
